İstanbul Professional League 1
İstanbul Professional League is the early football league where the teams can only participate here and held in İstanbul, Turkey.
The first season of league formed after it was gone professional football in the country was performed in 1952. Ten teams included in the league where eight teams fought. It was also begun to be commemorated as İstanbul Professional League 1, after which İstanbul Professional League 2 was formed in the 1956-57 season. The team who finished the İstanbul Professional League 2 on second place developed to this league, while the team who finished the 1957-58 season on last place in the league where any team did previously not drop relegates. Teams that took the first eighth place in the 1958-59 season participated Turkish National League performed the first in the 1959 season. İstanbul Professional League, however, has been replaced by İstanbul Local League.
